Born into a family of coffee farmers in El Salvador, Sarah pursued her education in Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, renowned as one of the top agricultural programs in the country. With a master’s degree in agribusiness, she honed her expertise in sustainable agriculture and global trade. Alejandro Cristo, her father, is the heart of Cristo Republic Coffee. With over 50 years of experience in coffee farming, Alejandro brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the company. Together, Sarah and Alejandro have revitalized the Cristo family legacy, blending traditional methods with modern innovation to create exceptional coffee while honoring their heritage and the land that sustains it.
