The Ed Bridges Music Scholarship is given in honor of Ed Bridges who was the Oak Harbor High School music director in the 1970’s. He was an inspiration to many young musicians who have gone on to make music their careers.
In 2016 we added another scholarship. This is in honor of the Oak Harbor Music teacher Bruce Lantz, who after 31 years of teaching music, retired in 2016.
In 2024 we added another scholarship. David truly inspired community with the power of music – his dedication to teaching and performing was evident through a lifetime of actions.
