Wednesday, Jun. 27, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Englewood Charlotte Library Counselers from SHINE are availble to assist with Medicare enrollment. SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department. For more information contact the library at 941.681.3736.

Café Philo Friday, Jun. 29, 10:00am - 12:00pm Mid County Regional Library This group gathers to have stimulating real dialogue about the larger questions of life in an informal setting for people who are seekers, wishing to share and learn from and with others..





Free Classes



The Charlotte County Library System uses volunteers at all of its branch libraries.


Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a library service that allows library users to borrow materials not owned by the Charlotte County Library System.

Children's Programs

Our department is proud of its accomplishments. Last year the department served over 1,475 children at six different locations throughout Charlotte County.


Your monetary donation assists the libraries in their efforts to provide books and materials that would not otherwise be available to our patrons.
