It forces you to think faster and make faster decisions as well. When you're not pressured you tend to spend a lot fo time debating what design works best, but under a tight deadline you make those decisions quicker no matter what it ends up looking like.
I was not expecting to switch and was a little bummed because I was liking the direction I was going in. I learned to adapt, improvise, and overcome the situation.
It will help becuase when I'm working in the industry situations like these can come up and one has to be ready for anything. Also I might use this technique when working. That way I can see the difference in work between rushing and taking my time.
