Reflection of Ex 5
Reflect on designing under tight deadline.
- I was more concerned with filling the page with successful items in a short period of time without having seen the website previously. I was concerned it was going to look sloppy because I would have felt rushed.
Reflect on how you felt when told to switch--what did you learn?
- I was so excited that I had gotten a good color scheme on the project I was currently working on, I was worried that the next person would not have the same vision as me or have the same styles as I did. I was concerned that my stylistic ideas would have made me want to start over on their project.
- I learned how much I care about typefaces, and how much they can really make or break a website (or any toher type of project). I learned that having sketches done previously would help organize better, and that color swatches should be at a maximum 3-4 colors without getting too out of hand.
How will this help you as a designer?
- As a designer, I believe this will help how organized I am both mentally and digitally, and being able to work under a time constraint is very important. Also, being able to take someone else's work and improve it, really speaks to who I am as a designer.
