I had a few good halloween memories of trick or treating, and it was really fun! But I want to go fast forward a bit and focus on the first time I got ACTUALLY scared. It was an anniversary year for some of the stories that inspired horror and monsters at the park. The top tier houses were Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein, and Chucky.
The wait times for these houses were crazy! Three hours at some point, but we waiting for all of them. The first of which was the Wolfman, which had amazing animatronics and makeup. At the very end of the house you're in a pitch black foggy swamp, and you turn a corner and an actor dressed as a wolfman (in a dead sprint) leaps out at you! However they are harnessed and get pulled back right infront of you. A blaring roar and strobe lights accompany the scare.
This was a the craziest, realistic thing that had ever scared me (beside the occasional cockroach / spider at 2am in the bathroom).
