Hope Starts Here

You are not alone. Everyone has a story. We're here to listen.

To Write Love On Her Arms is a movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. We believe you were created to love and be loved. You are not alone in your pain—and healing is possible.

TWLOHA exists to remind people that their story is important, their pain is valid, and they are not alone. What started as a response to one story has become a global movement, reaching millions through honest conversations about mental health and recovery.

Through storytelling, connection, and support, we aim to break the silence surrounding mental illness. We’re not just an organization—we’re a community built on compassion, action, and belief in second chances.

Our Mission

We exist to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery.

TWLOHA aims to connect people to resources for mental health support and provide a community where stories of resilience and strength are celebrated. Through campaigns, events, and partnerships, we create conversations that challenge stigma and provide practical help.

Our work focuses on four core values: offering hope to those struggling, connecting them with treatment and recovery resources, building a supportive community, and using storytelling as a source of healing and connection. We amplify real voices, provide funding for those seeking help, and actively dismantle the stigma around mental health.

  • Connecting people to treatment resources
  • Encouraging honest conversations about mental health
  • Raising funds for those who need help accessing care
  • Investing in hope through storytelling
