Exercise 5

Hector's Starting point

Crystal finishing what I started

How will designing under a time constraint influence you as a designer?

In terms of planning it really stunned me, to some extent I feel like it wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't sprung onto me. Like, if I was aware that I was stepping into a timed situation I feel like I would've been more level headed.

When you were asked to switch how did you react?

Honestly I felt bad for the person who was going to pick up from where I left off because I didn't get that much done to begin with, a part of me didn't feel too bad because it was such a blank slate that they could take it into a direction that they'd like to.

What challenges did you face and how strong was the other student's progress and file organization in comparison to your own when you switched?

Honestly it wasn't much of a challange, I feel a lot more comfortable picking up on and immitating someone's style than forging one from no where. The only challenge would be getting used to their organization because I basically used none v.s. Justin who made neat folders for what goes where.

How will this expereince prepare you for future work as a designer?

It made me be aware in terms of organization so I could make work easier if anyone would have to pick up from where I left off.
