Here We Have Our Heading

WHAT IS THIS YOU ASK? WHY THIS IS GOING TO BE A SUB HEADER FOR THIS PAGE.

Here is a paragraph. Usually I would put Lorem Ipsum. However, that would be boring. I would much rather type away my current thoughts. As designers we all go through self-doubt, but not for self-pity. In fact, if we force ourselves, we can think of self-doubt as self-motivation. For instance, I am now thinking I was wrong to put a 70's style to the campground. I thought it was a great idea at first and now I'm like

If this was a real client they probably would never go with this.
Does this even go with the brand?
Oh my gosh, what if this ends up in my portfolio.

While yes self-doubt can be awful and when written down it may seem like I am panicking (I assure you I am not). I still believe these are valid thoughts. I don't look at it as if this means I am an awful designer. No. I express self-doubt to help point out the flaws in what I create.

It is all a learning experience and, in my opinion, a part of the process. I'm also thinking my web designs are too childish. Just another thought, but I say all of this not to say I am upset or stuck or anything. I am just expressing what I have observed in my work simply because I always want to push myself to improve every project I do.

MY CURRENT
FAVORITE SPEECH
BY TEA UGLOW AT 99U

This was shown to me last semester. I watch it to remind myself that it is okay to be human and have doubts and not know what the heck you're doing. Many classmates didn't like her structure, but I loved it. It felt like a great conversation rather than this intimadating successful speaker talking only about all of their success.

MY CURRENT
FAVORITE DESIGN WORK
BY MIKLOS KISS

I found this designer by accident while on Behance and fell in love with his City Branding and Alchemy projects. I aspire to produce designs as great as these or better.

THIS IS THE END I PROMISE

Hope you enjoyed my mini rant. The last thing I am sharing is a quote. I went searching for one to remind me to stop putting life on pause because of work. This is way easier said to myself than done, but hopefully I take action towards this goal too.
