The Pellicer Creek Campground originally opened in 1973 as "The Pellicer Creek Family Campground", later shortening its name to just "Pellicer Creek Campground". The Campground functioned as an overnight stopping place for I95 & US1 travelers for over 20 years. For reasons unknown the Campground closed its doors to overnight travelers in the 90's. The Campground continued to operate as a full time residence for some until 2003, when its neighboring business "Charlie T's" closed, the Campground also closed its doors completely. In 2007 the property was purchased by a local family who began to modernize the property while keeping its
Old Florida feel.
